Jichimu, literally translated as ‘chicken-wing wood’, describes a wood whose deep brown and gray patterns resemble the patterns of bird feathers. Jichimu is indigenous to Hainan Island, the southernmost point of China. This mala is a very simple 108-bead wood design with turquoise accents.
